An Addiction Therapist with over 20 years experience, Marti has worked with community and school prevention education, individual and group programs, methadone maintenance, and with juvenile and adult offenders. Marti earned her Bachelor's and Master's of Social Work Degrees from Western Michigan University, and holds post-graduate certifications in Holistic Health and Special Program Alcohol and Drug Addition (SPADA). She earned the Michigan Certified Advanced Addictions Counselor II (CAAC), and the Assessment and Referral Methods Specialist II (ARMS-II). She is Nationally Certified as an Addiction Detoxification Specialist (ADS) using auricular acupuncture, trained in Hypnotherapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprogramming (EMDR) for trauma victims. Confidentiality and Professional Ethical Standards of Excellence are upheld and monitored.
